The Divine Innovations Grille (The DIG) is a local restaurant opening Monday. Located at 400 Coleman West Monroe, The DIG is operated by the Freed Men ministry and will be serving hot lunch specials along with quick service food like hamburgers and hot dogs.
Freed Men is a partner ministry with First West and supports our efforts to transform our community. They focus on keeping ex-offenders from going back to prison by providing them with spiritual and physical guidance. The Freed Men live in a halfway house for a period of time after their release and are provided assistance in finding a job. This restaurant is a way for the ministry to generate funds and provide a training ground for employment.
Please come and give The DIG a try – Located just off the interstate 5th Street Exit, it is open from 11:00AM to 7:00PM.
